Helene King Fund for Kids

Created to honor the memory and legacy of a beloved member of the LifeBridge Health public relations and marketing team, the Helene King Fund for Kids celebrates the positive and giving spirit of Helene King, who brought joy to all those knew her.

Helene had a sparkle about her. She always put others first and had a genuine interest in anyone she met. It’s hard to think about Helene without thinking about how she made you feel. She never thought that was anything special, but that is what made her extraordinary.

Helene also loved kids. She had a particular fondness for the LifeBridge Health programs that supported children and families, ensuring that kids could still be kids even while they were facing illness.

So, the Helene King Fund for Kids will support the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai. A small group of her LifeBridge Health colleagues will meet periodically to decide what programs or services to support in her honor, including how Helene will be recognized with each fund project.

While Helene may not have particularly loved the idea of having a fund in her name, she would have loved that children and families will benefit from donations made in her memory.

Whether you make a one-time gift or contribute year-after-year, thank you for supporting the Helene King Fund for Kids and honoring the memory of this extraordinary colleague, friend and human being.
